Royal Rangers in the United Kingdom

As we approach the 50th anniversary of Royal Rangers UK, we are coming to the end of a significant transitional period. Since the original team brought Royal Rangers to the UK in 1976, we have continued to honour the heart of “Royal Rangers past” while stepping forward with a new team who have taken up the mantle over the past decade. This team has worked tirelessly to shape the future of the ministry—developing a new curriculum, launching an updated training programme for leaders, and forming a new board of trustees. Throughout this journey, we have remained firmly committed to the safety and well-being of every child, which also includes safeguarding measures and leader training at the heart of everything we do. As we look ahead, we’re excited to see what God has in store for the children and young people of this nation, staying rooted in the core values of scouting, camping, and spiritual growth.

Explore our history

Since 1976 we are keeping the heart of ‘Royal Rangers past’ in mind as we move forward towards, what God has got in store for the children and young people of this nation; by making sure that we are keeping the scouting, camping and spiritual elements at the core of what we do.

In 2016 Royal Rangers UK started to see many of the new changes with the curriculum, uniform and advancement system.

And so our history is still being written. Our vision and prayer is that we can impact this generation through the Royal Ranger ministry; by evangelising, equipping and empowering the next generation.
